To help you attain the appearance you want, our staff works to learn about you on a personal level to realize your aspirations and concerns and form a treatment plan that effectively addresses them. Catherine Porter Moore MD received her PhD in molecular physiology and biophysics from Baylor college of Medicine in Houston, Texas, and her medical degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond. She returned to Texas for her residency and fellowship. As a practicing physician, her interest in aesthetics and wellness grew, which led to the establishment of Defying Time. Dr. Moore proudly stands behind all that Defying Time has to offer and strives to find more ways to serve her patients. Her passion is in giving patients the best of the best, ensuring their satisfaction, and watching them live their best lives!
Heather Gilliam is the leading aesthetic professional at Defying Time, proud to work with Dr. Moore and the team to serve people living in and around Willow Park, Texas. Heather grew up in the Aledo area and graduated from the Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences at Texas Christian University in 2010. She started her aesthetic journey at Defying Time in February 2016 and has worked there ever since. Heather has an eye for details, and enjoys learning new techniques and keeping up-to-date with the ever-changing trends in the aesthetic industry. Her ultimate goal with her patients is not to change them but to make them a more beautiful version of who they already are. She married her spouse in 2006, and together, they have two amazing children, Luke and Taylor. In addition to expanding her knowledge in aesthetics, Heather is active in her community and enjoys maintaining a healthy lifestyle, watching football, and spending time with her family and dogs.
Meredith Calvert is an emergency room nurse practitioner with a true passion for the science of medicine- and beauty! Her love for both science and aesthetics is what makes Meredith such a thoughtful, talented and compassionate nurse injector. Meredith grew up in the panhandle of Texas, but came to the metroplex for college (go Frogs!) and fell in love with the area, so she never left! She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from TCU in 2007, and a Masters of Science in Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from Texas Tech in 2015. Forever a student, she began injecting in 2021 and continues to be a true perfectionist in her passion of Defying Time. Meredith is married to a great guy, Michael and together they have two beautiful girls. She enjoys reading, sports, baking and Target.
Megan Cole is an outspoken leader of kindness and compassion in our community, who has always loved all things skincare and beauty. Megan has been blessed to be a pediatric emergency nurse for the past 6 years, with a total of 17 years total in healthcare.
Her interest in aesthetics began at a young age where she worked as a makeup artist for both TIGI and MAC cosmetics. Now, as an aesthetics provider at Defying Time, Megan is motivated by a genuine dedication to create a safe space for her patients to take a moment and focus on themselves. Patients leave their time with megan feeling supported, refreshed and beautiful! Psalm 139:14 I praise you God, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Kristi Moore specializes in wellness from within as she oversees the IV therapy division of Defying Time. Together, Kristi and the team provide a full service menu of IV hydration that addresses a myriad of concerns. Kristi has over 20 years of experience as an emergency room nurse, and worked as a technician in the emergency room before that. With her expertise, Kristi is a passionate provider that keeps her patients feeling their best. In her off-time, Kristi loves anything outdoors- especially golf, fishing and weekend BBQ cook-offs.
Delana Hudson has over a decade of medical aesthetic experience and accomplishments; she holds over 25 current licenses and certifications in the industry! In true fashion, she brings an outstanding wealth of knowledge to the table that keeps her patients effortlessly Defying Time. Delana is a very hands-on professional that goes the extra mile to get to know her patients and their needs to ensure they leave happy and satisfied with their experience.
Christi Sowders is the permanent makeup artist at Defying Time who specializes in precision brow, lip blushing and eyeliner. Christi grew up locally here in Willow Park and now resides in Peaster with her 2 wonderful children, Avery and Hayes. She is a fierce advocate of beauty and is proud to enhance the stunning features of her patients to make their life easier, and more glamorous! Christi has experience as a registered dental assistant, but eventually found her way back to where her heart lies, the beauty industry. We are so excited to have her with us at Defying Time.
